Patents:
The Otter Group have developed innovative solutions in a wide range of areas including bi-metal switches, connectors and energy saving heating elements to further improve the performance and reliability of products in the market place. Otter have therefore invested in an extensive portfolio of patents in order to protect these Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Otter continuously monitor the market to ensure that this IPR is respected and take action against manufacturers, importers, distributors and brands who are involved in infringement of Otter Group patents.
Recent activity includes the Easifix Legalization programme in which the Otter Group has been successfully working closely with all levels of the supply chain to ensure that appliances that incorporate the Easifix sealing system are licensed.
All products sold by Tarka Ltd. (including KetSol branded products), a subsidiary of Otter Controls Ltd., have protection under the Intellectual Property of the Group worldwide, and as such any queries on the Intellectual Property of the Group should be referred to the Head Office.
