The Otter Gemini System has been extended to include
the X2, particularly to meet the dry boil protection
requirement of flat plate elements. Based on the function
of the established and proven X3, the X2 offers primary
and secondary protection for a new generation of metal
and plastic bodied kettles and jugs. The system is
designed to be tolerant to abuse conditions but also
features the speed of response necessary to protect
elements mounted in plastic bodied vessels.
In addition to the standard 4.8mm tab terminal version, the X2 can be supplied
with options for direct mounting onto elements and also integrated cordless versions,
each of which will minimise the internal wiring within the kettle or jug
