The X5 Series is an integrated element Dry Boil Protector with built in steam sensor for corded and cordless immersed element kettles and jugs.

The Dry Boil Protector is based on the well established Otter X3, incorporating an auto cycling bimetal with an additional double pole secondary fail safe function.

The X5 also features an integrated steam switch, which offers a fast response in both “Switch Off” and “Reset” modes. X5 options include direct connection to the Otter CS2 cordless system utilising a unique one piece connector inlet or alternatively the X5 can be supplied with a standard 10Amp cold inlet connector.
