A series of
thermostats specifically designed to control and protect
a broad variety of engines and related applications.
To keep electrical consumption of cooling fans to a
minimum, Otter 'fanstats' are accurately calibrated
for individual engines and applications. The bimetal
sensor is close to the liquid and follows temperature
change very closely. This ensures that an unnecessary
drain on the battery is avoided.
The Y1 is available as push-in or threaded options
and can withstand pressure of up to 40 PSI.
